Using the captured CO<sub>2<\/sub>, a product for the chemical industry is created, namely formic acid. With the pilot plant, the operator wants to open up a way to use CO<sub>2<\/sub> as a valuable material, for example for the food industry. As if that were not enough, <a href=\"mailto:https:\/\/www.rohrdorfer.eu\">Rohrdorfer Zement<\/a> plans to reach climate-neutrality sometime between 2035 and 2040. This also depends on framework conditions over which the company itself has little influence, for example the construction of CO<sub>2<\/sub> pipelines.
