Global Energy Solutions mourns the loss of its Board of Trustees member Prof Dr Klaus T\u00f6pfer. He was one of the great personalities on the subject of sustainability for the whole world and died on 8 June after a short, serious illness. \n<\/p>\n\n

As a politician and thought leader, excellent strategist and exemplary mediator, Klaus T\u00f6pfer will be remembered by many people. He can be described with complete conviction as an exceptional personality. Anyone who had the pleasure of experiencing him as a federal minister or later as one of the world’s most senior UN directors could sense how extraordinary his foresight, vision and cooperation were, even on the most difficult issues. We will miss Klaus T\u00f6pfer as a role model. \n<\/p>\n\n

We miss him greatly and will honour his memory.<\/p>\n\n
