By increasing the blend of renewable components, emissions from millions of petrol vehicles could be reduced, leading to lower emissions in the transport sector without the need to replace the existing vehicle fleet. This would be an efficient, immediately effective and technically feasible measure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from combustion-engine vehicles.
