Prof Estelle Herlyn presented the positions of GES at the EuroMinds Economic Summit in Hamburg. Title of the panel: “2050 – Stop climate change! How we can stay on course for sustainability despite economic turbulence”. Many aspects that are often neglected were given space: the international dimension, the costs, the necessary expansion of the technological solution space, for example in the form of carbon capture, but also the question of social support for climate protection, which is in danger of crumbling.
