Together with our partners 4Pi-Solutions, FAW/n and denkfabrik R21, we have produced a programmatic paper that aims to open up new perspectives for the German energy transition and European energy and climate policy. Our approach: technological openness instead of technological bans, market forces instead of detailed regulation. In this sense, it is important to redefine the role of the state, use its resources efficiently and maintain proportionality. Strengthening global cooperation will be crucial. After all, Germany and Europe alone have no chance of significantly influencing the climate.
