Axel Pieper is a medium-sized entrepreneur. Together with his wife Regina Brückner, he founded the 4Pi-Solutions initiative, which focuses on energy and climate issues. Pieper knows that Germany cannot solve the climate problem on its own. As an entrepreneur, he also realises that the German energy transition, as currently planned, is weakening the competitiveness of the economy. His aim is to present a technical and political alternative that is characterised by a market-based approach and openness to technology. Pieper is convinced: Climate neutrality works, but only if other technical paths are taken alongside renewables. He believes that the current energy policy in Germany is unaffordable.
