Dear Reader,
Today we would like to take you once again into the world of technically feasible and affordable solutions. As always, we advocate for technology-neutral competition – rather than bans. A suggestion: why don’t we in Germany aim for a higher proportion of renewable components in fuels? This could reduce emissions from millions of (existing) combustion engine vehicles. And we could do it immediately. India is leading the way. There, E20 fuels with a bioethanol content of up to 20 per cent are mandatory. Why can’t we do the same here? This is just one suggestion among many in our June newsletter.
